Our journey will take us to six family-run tasting locations in the Central and Sheung Wan neighborhoods featuring Hong Kong's classic food and drinks. Each eatery has been specially selected not only to represent the best examples of Hong Kong cuisine but also for the unique and interesting stories behind them. Samples of food and drinks are included in the ticket price.
History, Architecture & Culture
Along our food tour, your local Foodie guide will share fun facts about the Central & Sheung Wan area, introduce you to important historical figures, and lead you to beautiful architecture that still remains. As we meander from one tasting location to another, we will also walk through Hong Kong's oldest remaining open market which will soon disappear due to redevelopment.

Wonton Noodle Shop
A brother and sister team now runs this award-winning family restaurant started by their grandfather. Relish the wontons, noodles and broth with intense flavor.
Roast Meat Restaurant
Taste some succulent roast meat. Find out how the owner perfected roasting such juicy meat over the last 30 years.
Fresh Juice Shop
Feeling a little tired? Sample some refreshing juice before continuing on our walk. Discover how the elements of this juice help balance the other tastings on the tour.
Preserved Fruits Specialty House
This little gem offers a huge array of traditional Chinese preserved fruits. Try various kinds and learn about their benefits.
Dim Sum Corner
A truly family-run business, with brothers, sisters, in-laws, nephews and nieces all pitching in. Savor a selection of dim sum and look out for others you could try when you return.
Local Bakery
Check out this tiny bakery on a side alley. For dessert, sample one of the tarts hot out of the oven.

Tour Details:
- Available on most days, Tuesday to Saturday
- Departs at 2:15 pm
- Tour route is about 2 km route, with some steps and slight inclines
- Tour lasts about 3 hours 30 minutes

- All age group with moderate fitness level
- Able to stand and/or walk outdoors for much of the duration of the tour

Food Allergies:
- Please let us know at the time of booking if you have any dietary restrictions. We will do our best to arrange alternate tastings for you so you can still enjoy Hong Kong’s cuisine.

- Unfortunately, we are unable to arrange hotel pick up for you.

What to Wear & Bring:
- Comfortable shoes and clothing is recommended as we will be walking or standing for most of the tour.
- If rain is in the forecast, please bring an umbrella or rain gear with you.
